A couple of months ago, all employees received a survey by email and results were determined based on the survey that you completed online. GAA  ranked in the highest tier among 130 organizations in the small business category.  We were one of the smallest companies and the only physician practice to receive this award.

I feel this honor is a real tribute to the entire GAA & AGMS family which includes each one of you.  I particularly want to single out Dawna and her team for the success they have accomplished as the survey results are completely a reflection of their hard work.

October 2011 was the 15th anniversary of the start of GAA.  We have gone through several transitions over the years but the practice has never run more smoothly than it does under the current leadership.  I give my heartfelt  thanks to all.

For GAA to be considered for the list, employees were asked to complete a questionnaire broken down into 10 different categories: team effectiveness, retention risk, alignment with goals, trust with coworkers, individual contribution, manager effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, work engagement and people practices.

This year, GAA ranked second in the category of Houston-based companies with 10 - 100 employees.
